Strange things happening today:

AMPS: 384 (1.25 units; fed 20g of Purina DM wet)
+2: 386 (only two points? Hm. Another 40g because he seemed ravenous)
+4: 409 (what?!)

Look forward to seeing +6...
 
Doubt it. My wife and I gave him this shot together this morning. I always pat down his fur to check. Nothing wet.

He has been high at +4 once before, and then sharply dropped off around +6. We'll test him again in a couple hours when we get back to the house. I should mention that he probably got ahold of a few bites of 9-Lives pate, but not enough to cause this kind of spike.
 
sometimes they just have an off day...just like us..
other days they are just plain naughty and get into something they shouldnt
lets see what the +6 is..
 
Very strange. We missed the +6 reading, but by +10, he was down from 409 to 213. +8 back up to 336, to be expected due to feeding 2 hours earlier.

I'll have to keep an eye on this. It seems like the ProZinc isn't kicking in until after +4.

Oh well. Another day, another cycle!
 
Maybe just a wonky number. Cycle ended well. Any time you get a real strange number, do another test. Could be the strip was bad or the reading was just off.
 
I don't know why I didn't see this before, but obviously his +4 403 was on the way down. I didn't take a reading at +2, which was probably in the mid- to high-400s. I think I'll give him another full cycle of 1.25 and reevaluate tomorrow night.
