This past month Mayton has been doing super great! He eats regularly, he gets his full insulin dose every time, his behavior is normal, and his blood glucose hasn't had any crazy drops/rises. He even looks to be gaining a little weight! I wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me a month ago! Everyone was super helpful and you guys probably helped save his life <3

My question is, what is a good range for diabetic cats blood glucose levels? Mayton is pretty consistently around the 300s. Should he be lower than that? His spreadsheet is linked below. Also, sorry that the morning checks are kind of skimpy... Mayton is usually hungry in the morning and doesn't like getting his blood taken, so he is often hard to handle then :/

Based on the limited between-shot values I say the dose should be increased. I think that is especially true since you said "He had been to the hospital twice for Ketoacidosis." My only reservation is the recent yellow BGs.
Anything unusual happen on those days/cycles?

I will do a curve on him on Saturday so that there is more information on what his current levels are looking like throughout the day. If we were to increase his insulin, how much should we increase? Also, is there a 'normal' range a stable diabetic cat should be in for his blood levels?
