Well, I've upped Tink to 1u of ProZinc. It SEEMS to FINALLY be making a difference - only seen one # over 300 since we started (on our 5th cycle now). Still not seeing low enough nadirs, but I'm thinking we might get there with this cycle. AMPS was 215 and I still shot 1u as I am home today. Yesterday, PMPS was 241 and I shot 1u - he got to 132 at +4, but that was mealtime, so it seemed to go back up from there. Getting closer!
Once again yesterday, his numbers went DOWN between +10 and PMPS - not the first time that's happened. Really seems odd to me. It SEEMS that he is seeing his nadir earlier than +6 - though that could be due to my feeding schedule.
Changing the feedings to 6/12/6/12 didn't work - I think they were ready to eat me in my sleep. I'm now feeding at 6am (AMPS), 11am (+5), 6pm (PMPS) and 10pm (+4) - will do the last feeding a little later when I'm up later. It seems to be working ok - at least each cycle is getting two meals, whereas before the first cycle was getting 3 meals and the 2nd was only getting one meal. However, I WILL say that messing with their feeding schedule is still having repercussions. For whatever reason, Tink now finds it necessary to scratch at my bedroom door for HOURS each night. If I let him in, he just wants back out... so I'm trying to "ignore" him - which is easier said than done since I have french doors so his little kitty nails are scratching on GLASS. NOT a pleasant sound to try to fall asleep to.
