Since the weekend Mary (my diabetic foster for DCIN) has become more and more friendly and is now really smoochy. Because of her diabetic neuropathy she runs like she is wearing clown shoes and looks really cute when she runs to greet me. Hopefully that is short lived as her blood sugars become better controlled and she's on methyl B12.

I decided she was comfortable enough to try a home glucose test at lunchtime and she was good through the test and her usual smoochy self right afterwards :-D Her BG was 299 and I'll take readings for a few days before deciding if her 0.5u BID needs adjusting

Thanks! We got a PMPS of 290 and she is fairly good getting tested, just a bit wriggly, so we'll start posting on thd Lantus forum
