Being a newbee, I dream of my Lucian being OJT or at least well regulated.

Debbie, you and Lucian can do it! Martha was diagnosed July of 2012 and was OTJ 12/16--five months later. I did not do tight regulated, but used a sliding scale with Martha. I started off with 2 shots every day, and it gradually decreased to 1/day, then tapered off to no shots. Looking over your spread sheet, does Lucian go all night with no food? That's a long period for a normal cat, who was created to eat pretty much around the clock. For a diabetic cat, smaller more frequent meals would be better. Martha throws up if she goes past 3-4 hours with no food. Just a thought.
As I said, Debbie, you can do this! It's obvious you love that beautiful silver cat of yours. And he is beautiful, I love the color.
