I feel like we lost momentum with the last reduction and dose changes. These are some of the worst numbers we've had in a while. I feel like he doesn't feel as good as he did 2 weeks ago and I don't know what to do. I hope nothing else is going on...
Just sad all around.
Guess we'll try a curve tonight and then back up closer to 0.40-0.30.

Since I've never been at such low a dose , I'll offer a few other thoughts. Just linking your last post for continuity

Based on the recent tests, it does look like Makoto needs a bit more juice. It happens sometimes where they need a bump to get them back to better numbers. The numbers do seem to be trending upward, and since you can get some tests in tonight, that will address my one hesitation to say increase, since I always wonder if there may be some evening shenanigans (I know you work :), but I still wonder).

Yeah... he definitely goes lower overnight. Used to between +3 and +5 but I don't know exactly with the lower doses honestly.
That was my hesitation for switching to TR- that I am not always home overnight, but I still think we might make the switch to stop taking so many reductions and to hold onto nicer numbers a bit longer.

Thanks for checking on us :) I can't tell if me being down is making him a little quiet or if him being quiet is bringing me down.

TR is a bit more aggressive since you have a lower reduction point and are able to assess in a shorter period of time if increases are warranted. It is doable ...have you seen this info yet? http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...ion-possible-with-a-full-time-job-yes.129378/

Maybe a bit of both :bighug:
If I had a raspberry emoticon I'd use it after seeing Makoto's +4...come on handsome boy, you can do better than that

Thanks.
You guys look like you are seeing some good numbers ! GREAT NEWS

Yes, the switch to YA Zero is really helping but it's still early days. I think our kitties like to keep us on our feet!
I hope Makoto stops giving you a hard time just because he feels like it! :-)

I saw a similar post about TR and full time work I think. The issue is that my shifts are 12 hours ...which leads to late AM shots and then early PM shots. I am usually not staying on a 12 hour schedule and then can't test past my PS at night when the action usually is. I am trying to change my schedule to more 8 hour shifts in the week, so I could go in at 11PM- it just hasn't happened yet due to staffing. I think that has affected some of his progress. There have been time we held a dose simply because I wouldn't be around to test enough for the next few nights. Then when we found a good dose, I think giving it 20 minutes early at night and then 20-30 minutes late in the am just messes with the depot. I think I found a good sitter though and she would be able to do his PM shot and test one- two nights a week if I needed so that's another option.
