Making your own chicken snacks

I know there have been posts in the past on making your own chicken snacks. In the past, people have talked about using a dehydrator to do this. Can anyone suggest a dehydrator (brand or maybe where to get it.) There are so many out there that I don't know which one to buy.

My kitty eats chicken so I would like to do beef.
