Major bounce or bad reading? 54 to 313 in 30 mins?

Hubs got BG of 54 at +5. She ate some LC wet that was still out from this morning. Tested at +5.5 and got 313. Waiting until 5.75 for another test.

Can BGs jump that quickly or was this a bad meter read?

I'm thinking the 54 was a bad reading.
the drop may have been too small.

I'm with Janet. The 54 seems to be the outlier.
