Hi all. Kitten just vomited at 6pm. She had her etube taken out last night at the hospital and she vomited in the exam room. She was given an anti-nauseua injection that should have lasted about a day the doc said. She has been on 4mg of Ondansetron for past two weeks while on feeding tube and pepcid for burping. She has not vomited since before her hospitalization until last night and then today. I changed her Lantus injection times since yesterday morning..so for the last few doses. She is due at 9pm tonight. I think I should skip it. I gave her 1/4 tab Cerenia at 6pm because this is supposed to work better when vomiting and not just nauseua like Ondansetron.I have to make sure she does not get fatty liver from not eating. She did not eat that much today but had been eating fine until yesterday. Do I skip the insulin? When do I offer more food? she did have some FF classic today and she is used to the DM in etube supplemented by Wellness Core wet. Would this small diet change make her throw up? I am also goingpprec to the FAF site for help as I may need to assist feed her tonight to guard against fatty liver which the specialist is concerned about. After she vomited, she had the most solid BM she has had in two weeks and she was playing with her mouse independently? So confusing. She has also been eating dry DM for past two weeks and most of the food in vomit was unchewed(do they ever chew their food well?) DM dry food. She spent most of the day napping but playing with me and purring when I inititated it. Any advice on any concern would be appreciated.
