Hi all. Does anyone know how many calories is in a can of FF chicken classic? I do not see the classic on Janet and Binky's list. Did I miss it? Most food charts I am seeing online do not have the classic. How strange. Does anyone know? Or do I have to call the company. Maybe it is on their website. This is all my cat will eat. She despises the Purina DM the vet said took years of research to specially formulate... Hahaha. What a joke. I am glad my cat now refuses the DM. Thanks for any answers!!!

Thanks.. It is on petfinder. I missed it the first few times I read the list. About 30.21 cals an ounce for 3 ounce can. I believe. That is like 2 1/2 cans a day for my cat plus more accounting for waste. Seems like alot but she wants that and more. Plus the Pure Bites sprinkled on top mixed with a tsp of warm water. Orherwise, she will not eat as much. Thankyou.

I know off the top of my head that Dr Pierson's site shows Classic Chicken fancy feast at 91 calories per can so petfinder has the right amount. That's the kind Milo wants to eat right now too. Something else I noticed, Petsmart and Pet Supplies Plus have fancy feast cheaper than Walmart. Seriously $2 more for a pack of 12 at Walmart. I was pretty surprised since the pet stores are generally more expensive. I haven't checked Petco but their prices are usually pretty ridiculous so I won't even bother looking.

And I was just looking online at Walmart and a 24 pack is listed at $21.99. That is $7 more than a 24 pack at Petsmart. Geez. You can get 36 cans for the same price. I am annoyed about all the fancy feast I have gotten from Walmart now

ETA: I did a little more comparing between Walmart, Amazon, Petco and Petsmart. Petsmart still wins in the 12 and 24 packs of fancy feast but Petco wins with $.60 per can. So you can save $.29 buying 12 single cans at Petco or pay the $.29 for the convenience of the 12 pack at Petsmart. At about 8 cans a day in my house, the 12 pack wins :-D

Angela. That was a great price comparison. Kitten uses at least 3 cans of FF a day including waste. My Petco store is charging .65 cents per can. She is also eating alot of the Pure Bite "dust" with her food. My Petco store has the Pure Bites on sale for $2.99 a pack with loyalty card. They are always out of Turkey which my cat prefers plus it turns into dust easier. Thanks all.

Oh I did some for Pure Bites as well. How many ounces are the $2.99 one? I just bought a bag for $27 on Amazon that is 11.6oz which is HUGE. I had first bought a bag of .6oz from Pet Supplies Plus for $3.48. That would take 19 bags to be equivalent to the 11.6oz bag which at that price would cost $67.28
If you are getting the .6oz bag then it would end up being $57.81 for 11.6oz. So buying in bulk on Amazon might be worth it. You could get turkey too. And they have smaller bags than the 11.6oz if you don't want that much.

The Petco price of $.60 a can is just what I saw on their website so I am not sure about in store. I swear every single thing I have gotten from there I have found cheaper somewhere else.

ooh..I'm lucky, I can get FF for 48c a can at PetClubStores but they're only in CA.
I can mix and match but only 2 packs per visit.
FF Appertizers are only $1 as well :-D

They sell all the other premium brands too but my lot won't eat them
