Luke 6.19 PMPS HI, +.5 HI

I'm so confused. He had a great morning with numbers in the 100s, didn't get into anything (was just sitting near me at work) and then bam! spike at AMPS +6 and it is still staying up there. He had a good day yesterday too with hi's only in the 200s.

Is this a bounce? Seems like he didn't drop too low the past few days to warrant a bounce.

Likely bouncing from the string of blue. If the 87 was the Libre I doubt it’s accurate. Did you do an ear prick to confirm? Bounces generally can take 4-6 cycles to clear.

His body isn't used to a long stretch of blues. Hence the bounce. He could even have gone lower last night between +4 and AMPS this morning.

Thanks both. He did start to come down over the night and was at 247 AMPS then 145 +2 so you were both right. I guess I thought with Lantus he would be less likely to have the highs and lows so suddenly.

I didn't get an ear prick b/c but next time I will when he is sub-100. For some reason with him the Freestyle Lite tends to read lower than the Libre.
