Lucy settling into schedule. Dose change?

We've settled into her old cycle (hah..old cycle...we've been at this just one month). Should I up her dose to .8 or leave it as is?
 
I like Teresa's idea, Joan. Maybe a bit of a curve to figure out how low .6 goes before possibly increasing? If possible, get +5,+7,+9 or something like that? Have plenty of snacks ready. :mrgreen:
 
OK, I'm going to tell her it was your idea. Just bought a 100 pack of test strips and a new battery JUST IN CASE.
 
Yeah, what Sue said. :-D More numbers today to get a better picture of what the .6 is doing.

I've noticed some kitties take their time settling into a dose and some take right to it. Changing the dose after three days just seems to be a bit quick until we can tell how the insulin is working mid-cycle. :smile:
 
Didn't get much of a curve today, at least it doesn't look like a curve. Got one yellow! This day I thought I would be at home all day didn't materialize.
I don't know how important the half hours are in the curve, or how to note them, or if I'm going on an obsessive binge again.
At +5 1/2 BG 265, she had tuna and about a tablespoon Fancy Feast
At +8 1/2 BG 353, 1 tsp tuna. This was three hours after she last ate, and she didn't eat much.
I will leave her dose at .6 tonight, test her PMPS, that's all I can do today, I think.
She doesn't look that peppy or cheerful today, also not wolfing down the food. She probably will once dinnertime rolls around.
