? Lowest Preshot So Far: 09.14.22 Chispa, 191 AMPS, 279 +2, 280 +5, 159 PMPS, 148 +1, 118 +2.5, 119+4

Lowest preshot ever: 159. She had dinner 1.5 hours ago, so I’m not sure how this number can be lower than her AM +5, but it is … by a lot!

I reread the sticky on shooting a low number and I guess I am supposed to go ahead, but she has been known to drop by 250 or more from preshot to nadir! Is this really ok?
 
That PMPS does seem out of place, perhaps a wonky strip, can you retest? As a side note, you've shot numbers like this back on September 2nd.
 
Thanks, Christie - we’re at 148 at +1, so it wasn’t the strip. You are right about the low PS on 9/2, but I was out of town and heard about it only after the fact. Looks like I am in for another pajama party tonight. :eek::D
 
Thanks, Bhooma - I put down about 2+ tsp of her usual mix (about 10 carb avg) and she ate about half of it while I was brushing my teeth, so I picked up the rest and will report back with a new test at +2. Going to take another nap on the sofa til then. :)
 
I’m lucky that she is a good eater. I weighed her yesterday and discovered that she has gained almost 1 lb. since a month ago. Nobody told her that a 16 year old cat with FD, IBD, and CKD is supposed to lose weight, not get love handles. I am putting her on a diet!
