Lower BGs should I be doing something different?

Hello my 2 legged and 4 legged friends...

I think Kit is definitely trying to go OTJ (knock on wood). His BGs are staying low. The last few days have been all blues and greens. He's only had 2 shots in the last 3 days and they were both .2U. If anyone could take a look at his SS and see if I should be doing anything different, I'd appreciate it.

I think you are doing a fantastic job. just keep testing and since he is only getting a shot every now and then, 2 things I personally would test out
1) when in middle 100's. maybe feed a little bit and test in an hour or two and see if pancreas kicked in
2) continue to treat with the smaller doses just for a little while longer to give just a little help

when doing an OTJ trial for 14 days, they can have some higher numbers before leveling off
wonderful what the proper diet will do to aide in healing. good for you for listening to a bunch of internet whackos
this is just what I would do. others may have different opinions. use what works for you

I can't offer expert opinions here or anything, but I think you are doing just right.
Callie Mae did the same thing when she first starting going OTJ. If you look at her SS around 5/11 you'll see that's when I had to start doing a little tweeking here or there. Little shot today, nothing for a couple days. Just kinda *sputtered* a few days. Around 5/18 I gave her her last micro dose and she completely took over from there. Well, until that time when she found a secret stash of dry that I didn't know about for a couple days. Her numbers starting getting all crazy out of the blue and I put her back on insulin. The minute I found her and her stash and took it away, her little body did exactly as it was supposed to do again.
You'll get there. Just takes a little patience. Guess you could say you hung up your jive shoes and traded them for a waltz.
