Low numbers (going up now)

I just tested my cat. We use vetsulin and I tested her five hours after injection. She just tested at 75 on relion. I tested twice to make sure she was that low. Do I need to give her sugar at that number or should she be fine? I know that other people have issues with vetsulin and we seem to continue to have issues. I did just give her more food.

She is definitely hungry and her ears feel chilly.
 
Test her again in about 20 min and see where her numbers are heading. If they are heading down, give her a teaspoon or two of higher carb food and then re-test shortly after.
 
Thank you! I just tested again and we're up to 88. I'm guessing the problem is that she needed more food. (Her appetite regular changes so it's always hard to tell how much food she needs at a time)
 
She was a little low today at lunch again and I gave her extra food (but she also started off low) so I'm going to try and check her a bunch over the weekend
