Low Dose okay to temporarily stop?

Hi, I have to be away for a week, without possibility of taking my sugar cat with me. Red is currently on a low dose of 0.1 U prozinc and his nadirs are usually in the 70's. Would it be okay to stop his insulin dose while I am away so there is no threat of him dropping too low?

That is what I would do! He will be safe. You can deal with his BG when you get back home, if necessary.

That would be useful data - to see what he was doing on no insulin. He is doing so well on .1 now.

I won't have anyone to test him while away. It will be a young girl coming to feed them. Maybe I'll do a test run without insulin before I go since I won't need to leave until the end of May.
