Low carb, gluten free foods without recalls?

I'm still not wild about feeding my cats food with glutens in them after the big melamine recalls a few years ago. Similarly, I'd love to feed my cats foods without ingredients from China if possible, since that is where the contaminated ingredients originated. Is there a list out there that tracks recall safety? What about glutens? I have one diabetic cat, and one "normal" kitty. :smile:

I don't know of any such list. The FDA keeps track of pet food recalls, but now sure what their format is.

Robin, Snoball's foster mom makes her own raw, as do some others on this forum.
 
Well, you can search for "The Truth About Pet Foods" and find that site ... but you'd better have really good antivirus software, malware protection, & firewalls, because their web site is not well protected and I got a killer rootkit virus that crashed my PC from their website. It took 2 weeks to recover most, but not all of the files.
