Hi, My name is Sheryl I have a diabetic cat and 3 non-diabetic cats. I am new to this site, but do know the basics as far as caring for my dc. I realize that it is best to totally take my cats off of dry food: I've been using Purina Md for about a year now. All of my cats have been eating it and are overweight. I've done a little research, and have started to try and feed all of my cats wet food: Merrick. But several of them will not eat it...not to mention it is very expensive for all my cats. Can anyone recommend a good quality, low carb dry food that i can try. They are so high in carbs! The lowest I've found is Natura Evo: it is only 7% carbs. I was very excited to try this cat food, but was told by a salesperson in the petstore that recently Natura was bought out by Proctor and Gamble( the same people who manufacter Iams and some other unhealthy dry cat food). They told me that they have discontinued buying the product because they more than likely changed the formulation and they don't need to note the change. So back to square one again... Has anyone heard of Orijen? It doesn't mention the carbs contained in it. Please help me!!!!!!
