LOW BG -- Mid-cycle, should I worry?

I hope this is the correct posting etiquette...

I tested Rae at +4 on Vetsulin and she's dropped to 70 on an AlphaTrak. I thought I read somewhere that 68 was the danger zone for hypo. Should I be worried? I'm going to test again at +5 and I'm watching her like a hawk, but I don't know if I should be doing more.

Edit: +5 was 112, I think we are okay for now, but definitely bouncing...

50 is a danger zone for Hypo. give 2 tsp of medium carb or 1 of high carb to spike up a bit test in 1 hour if still low repeat until you see better numbers:bighug::):cat::cat:

Here is your introduction post below you might want to read both of them again where members are giving you advice to reduce the dose , and about a feeding schedule you do need to reduce the dose tonight if the BG is high enough to shoot

On your spreadsheet you have 340 @+9 the in the 10 cell you have @10.5
You can just put in the 10 cell 340 @+10.5 and color code it pink

@Chris & China (GA)

70 isn't too low but if give her a snack to make sure it doesn't drop further. She earned a slight reduction.

Hi all, we gave 10% less dry food at dinner and 3u of vetsulin. Her +2 was a pretty dramatic drop, which I know is expected for vetsulin, but I'm going to test again at +4 and make sure she doesn't drop too low. Please let me know if you think I should be testing every hour at this point.

The vet has been no help--even suggested dropping her all the way back to 1u and taking her off the dry food right away. So thankful to you guys for answering all of my wild questioning right now--I know I'm very all over the place and the inside of my head is just as messy right now!
