Low BG, biting my fingernails!

Well, Squallie is having another day in the greens, it seems. His BG at +3 was 62; I am biting my nails and making myself nuts because I want to steer that number a little higher, but if his recent history holds true, his BG should start to rise by itself in the next 30-60 minutes. So I am forcing myself to sit tight and see where it goes; obviously, if it goes much lower I will give him some gravy and/or Karo. But it is terribly nerve-wracking!!!

It's amazing how well Squallie is doing on a low dose of Vetsulin these days (thanks to his wonderful Mom) after once being on 7 units!

@Cat Ma is right, you're the who has been diligently staying up night after night testing him until the wee hours and adjusting his dose as needed! He's responding well to the Vetsulin but if you weren't carefully monitoring and changing course as needed, that wouldn't be the case!

Wow, PMPS is 138! I can stall for a bit but I don't think his BG will come up enough tonight to shoot. Fingers and paws crossed that this doesn't break the cycle and give him high AM #s!!! I'm running out of fingernails, lol!!!

Way to go, Lucy and Squallie!!! It's so fun to scroll down through your spreadsheet and see how the colors change! I echo everyone else about what a great job you've been doing! (although wouldn't it be nice if they COULD do their own BG tests and shots....?!)
