Hi everyone, great to see this forum! I would love some advice or insight at this stage of the game~ Louie is approaching his 2 month diagnosis anniversary as an official sugar kitty, and he seems to be doing better, thanks to much support and good guidance from several folks here. He is still quite food obsessed, and always hungry, although his tummy seems full. He gets fed only wet FF & other low carb wet food from the list. Fed 3 to 4x daily.
I think we are ready to see what adjustments need to be made (if any) to his insulin dose~
any suggestions?
Thanks!
Tracy & Louie

looking at Louie's spreadsheet I think I would try upping his dose a little maybe try .5u for several days to let it settle and see how he does on that, he looks like he is still pretty high at the nadir and preshots, but at least he has stopped swinging all over the place.

Thanks Mel~ I was thinking the same thing....about upping his dose to .5, so thanks for the suggestion! I'll monitor him closely. Would I still keep the no shot number at 150, while keeping the .5 dose?

Yep stay with the 150 no shoot rule, hopefully with the dose increase you can get him in better numbers overall.
