Hello,
Please see Louies ss...... he finally went to the 200 range (high but 200 range none the less)......however, please note the feeding for today.....
He ate ff - sole, cod & shrimp which he did not keep down....
He ate again around 5:30 which was ff - tender beef....
Cannot find the carb count on the tender beef or the cod on Binkys lists old or new.... could someone help out???
Thinking the food today might have something to do with the lower #????????

PLEASE ADISE SHOT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TONITE..... going to be on here for another 30 min. then off to bed

Tender Beef Feast is on the old chart, but listed out of order from the rest of the classics. 3% carbs.
Cod, Sole and Shrimp is on there too. 2% carbs.

Looking at the SS, I can't see a reason to change from the 1.0 yet, although very flat for the tests she got today. The PMPS did come down nicely though. Make sure it's rising before shooting?

Carl, do you know why there is such a difference in the mfg's 'guaranteed analysis' and the Binky list? Before I found the Binky list, I was looking up info on different brands, and what I found on the mfg's sites can be as much as 5% difference than the Binky's list, with the mfg carb content tending to be on the higher side.

I think she is going to do a fat .50 and set alarm and test +4/6.

I don't really completely understand it, but the stuff written on the can says like "guaranteed analysis Fiber 7%max", which I take to mean, "okay, we know you didn't buy this for the fiber, so we promise that there is no more than 7% in this little can", while OTOH, they assume you're all about "Protein" cuz that's good for kitty, so they tell you "93% min", which translates to "hey, this stuff is GOOD for kitty, almost like prime beef!"

The values used to calculate the numbers on the charts, I believe, are the "as fed values", which are available sometimes upon request from the mfg, and have little to do with what they print on the label of the cans.

Did you stress she needs to test again first to make sure the number is rising? No way to tell from the SS....

Then I would stick with what I said earlier in one of these two threads. ;-) I think shooting 1.0 is okay.
That is if the rise is not "food induced".
