I would like to know if the 13th was an 'off' day or not because based on the other numbers, it appears there is room for an increase of 0.5 units per shot. I think if you can get a few more mid cycle numbers it would help paint a more complete picture of how the insulin is working mid cycle, how low she is going, when it wears off, etc.

I would be interested in what the PZI folks have to say.

I wonder about the 13th also. Did he eat a lot less? One thing that jumps out at me is that there are several places where there is a fast drop or climb - 200+ points in 2-3 hours - last night a drop and then a rise. I don't think that PZI should work that fast, so wouldn't that indicate that there is a bit too much insulin? It's been so long since I worked with a fast acting insulin, but that's what these numbers look like. PZI should be a medium-acting insulin, shouldn't it?

I wonder if backing off on the insulin to .75u and letting him settle from that and then slowly rising would work? It might stop the swings that are happening. Again - see what PZI folks say.

ty sheila, that is what i was thinking as well..... even tho, I did not have that much experience with PZI. Bean was in remission very quickly, but I do remember Lori stepping me (along w/ others) thur going lower and lower.... even at a 300 number..... just saying
