I didn't want to clutter the Lantus Forum, so I though this would be an appropriate place to express the following:
Now that our household is back to "normal", I want to say thank you for the support and dedication the members of the Lantus Support Group exhibited to me and Kushi yesterday. Looking back, I know that I probably got way too excited and just a little panicked, especially in light of what I learned. Even having read all the articles on "hypo" and treating low numbers, posted on this site, NOTHING could have replaced the support and on-the-spot advice given to Kushi & me by the outstanding members of this community. I was talking to people at church this morning telling of yesterday's events and they could not believe that people were so dedicated as to "stick with it" on line until the "crisis" had passed. Well, I said, "believe it"...I know from personal experience it is true
I do not believe I have ever experienced such deep commitment and dedication to help others when circumstances called for it. I feel privileged to be a part of this forum and will aim to someday be able to "pay it forward"
A special thanks to Nicole & Baby, Sienne & Gabby, Hillary & Maui, and Amanda & Kazi. I hope I have not left anyone out so please accept my apologies if I have.
