Loose Lips - Question About Catnip/Probiotics & Diabetics

Just wondering if catnip and/or forti flora helps with bringing down BG's?

The reason why I ask this is because I gave Blackie and the others some catnip yesterday. She ate hers at the time it was given to her, she licked the rest off the carpet that the others had left, and I expected a higher PS # last night, but was pleased that it was lower than the previous night's #. This morning I gave her a bit of catnip again to see what will happen with her BG's. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen with their furbaby?

It's an interesting experiment to say the least. :lol:

Definitely interesting! Most of mine don't care for catnip so we don't do that here. I do give KT floriflora when we're having runny issues but he's usually already feeling bad so I can't tell if it's affecting his bg's or not. Doesn't SEEM to but I can't tell for sure...

We give Tess a different probiotic and I don't see any BG change. Not sure on the catnip, but if they get more active w/ it it could lower BG.

I haven't seen any lower #'s with catnip and mine gets it all the time.... but it can make them more playful and less hungry.... so less food would drop bg....a bit...

and same with the fortiflora.... haven't seen any number changes....

I've been giving Furball Fortiflora for about a month now and haven't noticed any change in her BG. I don't know about the catnip.

I'm probably just imagining, and hoping for things that aren't really happening, I'm guessing. :lol: Thanks, ladies. I appreciate your input.
