Yo Kitties! Tonight is the Full Worm Moon and tomorrow is St. Paddy's Day. So let's celebrate both with a PARTY. Neko has graciously volunteered to host the party, so it will be in Vancouver BC. Lots of worms there at this time of year! And good ocean and river fishing. Come early to help dig worms for bait and for some special protein treats and to catch fish for the sushi. Later there will be singing, dancing, rowing, and a special performance by the St. Paddy's Green-Blue Mannie Group, playing all our favorites. And of course we will have our Circle of Remembrance to honor our beloved GAs.

Appetizers: Green Worm Tea; PNW Microbrews; Irish Wormtinis; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Can O' Worms; Corned Beef Roll-ups with Nip Dip; Sushi Bar manned by LL Sushi Chefs Neko and Tess and featuring Worm-caught PNW Fish.
Entrees: Night Crawlers a la King; Grilled Chicken with Red-Wiggler Marinade; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo; Shepherds' Pie; Grilled Bangers & Mash; Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili.
Salads: Field Greens a la Butthead & Donny; Green Cabbage Slaw.
Desserts: Maggie's Signature Wild Irish Rose Cheesecakes; LL Chief Pastry Chef Tess's Surprise Dessert; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies with Green Sprinkles; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

All Kitties invited. Tess will pick you up in the Kitty Bus. Get your paddy feet ready to DIG!!

Hey Rusty! I'm so excited for the party tonight! I promised my bro he could come too because he just LOVES Wormtini's! Hope Tess has snow tires on the bus tho cause we gots lots of the white stuff here still! Oh and how exciting to hear Mannie's band again. They always play the best kitty jigs. I gotta go have a quick 14 hour catnap now so that I'm rested up for the festivities. See you guys soon! Wooo Hooo!!!!!

RUSTY! DUDE! We are ready! Lola and Bug are finishing up with everything for Paw Prints Pizza, and are packing the pizza makings now. I so wanna hear the Blue Mannie Group again. I miss thems! and we gets to have the Circle of Remembrance too? it is my fav part. I can see Mannie then! and BJ too! We are waiting for Tess and the bus. I hopes she didn't oversleep, again. I gots hot toddy's and cocoa and coffees for everyone on the bus too! See ya in a few.~~ Elsa
 
Yahoooooo, party time! I's got the picnic table all cleaned off wit a nice green cloth to put over it. We's can take that off when dancing starts. I's got my special St Paddy's outfit all ready. Now's we just gotta wait for da bus! - Zener

Hey Tess and Rusty!! I'm ready to go!! I will however have to pass on the worm digging festivities....I'm much too beautiful and dainty to get my paws dirty, but if someone will bait my hook, I'm one heck of a fishercat!!

Sounds like lots O'fun though, with the band and all. Maybe we can all do some Irish step-dancing too! That is oh so cool!!

The Remembrance Circle is always a favorite thing too. Gets to see all our good buddies again!! Such a special time for all of us!

Bring your wellies and brollies, it's perfect worm weather today. Rivers are flowing, lots of fish out there. I am so looking forward to hearing the BMG and the other singers tonight
 
Hey Rusty, what a fantastic menu and party you've put together. The kitties will be having a wild time together and so much fun. Best the Beans not wait up for them tonight. Thanks for making Maggie's Signature Wild Irish Rose Cheesecakes. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: She so loved making cheesecakes for everyone at the parties. So cool on the Mannie Blue Group performance. I know Mags can't wait to see everyone at the Circle of Remembrance.

A little birdie just flew to my window sill, to tell me that Checkers plans to be at the Circle of Remembrance.
He's gonna be wearing his little green dancing shoes and green tie, to impress Miss Mags and all the girls. He always was sweet on her.
Rusty, the menu sounds fantastic. You all are gonna have so much fun, with all your friends, and Mannie's band playing.

I iz on my way, along with my civvie posse! Tomorrow is an extra-special day....it would have been my GA civvie brother Mario's 19th birthday. I know we will feel him, along with our GA Mr Kitty and all the other beautiful angels around us....

I'm closing my eyes, and seeing the 19th birthday party for Mario, at the Bridge. What fun. :smile:
I bet he watched through The Veil, the Circle of Remembrance, with Checks and the rest of the angel kitties, last night. They must have loved being honored by all their friends at the Full Worm Moon party..

When I got up this morning, the moon was still there, huge, round, yellow, then fading to white. It was glorious! I thought of all the kitties at The Bridge, still happy from last night.

The clouds parted and the full moon made an appearance exactly at midnight here. It came out just in time to honor Mario's birthday and the rest of the angels at the party.

Neko tells me the kitties all had a good time here, but the robins are complaining that all the worms have gone deeper to hide from the digging paws.
 
Wish we could "like" a post instead of making a new one to laugh at someones cute remark. :-D

LOL @ Wendy's robins having to dig deeper for the hiding worms.
 
The party was great! Thanks to Neko for hosting. Rusty posted some remarks about the party in his condo today.

Love the description of the hungry robins. It's going to be a while before we see robins here!
