I messed up in the fall, so I hope someone lets me know...

Spring ahead, right?

start adjusting a week ahead by minutes maybe....???

Rub it in Liz!! Someone had a formula for it. I will start moving by 15 minutes next Wednesday, right? Spring ahead. Ughhh. Lose an hour but at least it will stay light past when I get home from work.

If you think it's hard to reset OUR clocks...

I'm feeling braindead...I can't remember which direction we start shifting - ugh! I'm looking forward to the completion of the change...every time we have to change the clocks, it throws off my ability to calculate the time when I'm half asleep trying to determine when I need to reset the alarm clock for....

"Spring ahead". What used to be 6 A.M. will be 7 A.M. Therefore you have to move your kitties' shot times earlier by an hour. You can do this 30 minutes per 24-hour day, either 30 minutes all at once, or 15 minutes per 12-hour cycle.
Example:
Your AMPS is now at 6 A.M.
On the Friday before Daylight Savings Time begins (March 9th), if you want to move the shot time by 30 minutes per day all at once, you will do AMPS and PMPS at 5:30 (A.M. and P.M., respectively) If you want to move the shot time by 15 minutes per cycle, you will do AMPS at 5:45 A.M. and PMPS at 5:30 P.M.
On Saturday (March 10th) you will complete the move to DST by doing AMPS and PMPS at 5 (A.M. and P.M., respectively). Or, by doing AMPS at 5:15 A.M., and PMPS at 5 P.M.

The clocks are officially set ahead one hour on Sunday, March 11th, at 2 A.M. 2 A.M. will become 3 A.M. Your AMPS will be at 6 A.M., just as it always was. Congrats, you have survived the time change! Good Luck!!

Ella
