Tucker surfing along in the blues right up to +10! I shoot AM dose in 30 minutes.. Just wondering about dose in case we barely clear 200?
He has been spiking up for PS , but what if he doesn't?
 
What an interesting spreadsheet, Brenda. Overall there are lots of pretty blues and greens. And then yes, he certainly bounces. But I find the longer surfs - in the blues for the last half of the cycle - encouraging. I am going to guess you will get a rise for ps and then I would stay with the one unit. But if he is still below 200 after stalling: decision time. I think you can certainly shoot 185/190. Can you monitor at all? If so, maybe .8 If not, .4/.6?

I did give him a smidge over the 1.0 last cycle. On a U100 it was between 2.50 and 2.75 ( I don't know what to put on SS for that, so I just made a not)
I can monitor up to +7. Good?
 
When I leave for work, I have a "puck" frozen for him, when necessary. I confine him to his favorite spot, so his brothers don't get it.
 
Don't worry about any conversion. Just a smidge over one unit is fine. Monitoring till +7 is fine - maybe just a +5 which seems to (sometimes:D) be his nadir.

How are you feeling?
 
Coming along. Physical therapy and medication, which I don't like to take. I never get too far away from my ice pack. :D

I am doing PT too. Two steps forward and three steps back. It is discouraging that the body you counted on for all your life suddenly starts to be an antagonist. Not to mention that sagging gravity thing.....:(
 
Oh you can say that again! I've always been so physical, in motion type. I just never even gave it a thought that it would ever fail me :( It works on your mind, not just the body, too.

Great. I thought I had Tucker on track again. But NOW he is testing LOW. 133 and now, 143. Rising, but not enough to shoot 1.2U???
Any help would be appreciated.:(
 
Can you be home to monitor? Because, if so, because you know how to test & feed to steer BG, I would then say you could probably shoot @ 150 with a slight reduction ...
 
Well, if that's the case you probably would be ok doing that w/the reduced dose; but you hold the syringe, Brenda. And if it were my cat, I would monitor between +3 & +7, then give a snack when you're leaving at +7 if he's still dropping at that time/ or # is low.
 
OK. Good advice. Will be monitoring. Reduce dose. And leave him a 1/4 frozen puck after I snack him at +7 when leaving. Should be good.
I can isolate him on sun porch w his puck. :)
 
He is looking good, Brenda. No great ideas - maybe his pancreas is waking up. Or it does seem that Tucker has had a delayed reaction to a dose increase previously. Will watch for your next test.
