Hi,
I recently started to feed my cat Guinness, TC Feline + Chicken Liver supplement powder sprinkled over raw chicken. I was looking for ideas and advice from others who might use this brand. Some things I'm hoping to find out are:
What meat do you mix it with? Chicken? Do you get it already ground? Do you grind it yourself, have the butcher grind it or just cut it up? Do you buy skinless thighs or breasts? Do you ever add anything else, like egg, etc.
I guess I'm just looking for your process and trying to find out what would be best to do with my cat. Currently, I buy Henry's hormone free skinless chicken thighs, I quickly parboil them to get any bacteria off and then slice some in little chunks and run the rest through my food processor. I then add my TC Feline Instincts powder and make a big, gross, chicken-y mess and then put it into ice cube trays, freeze and then pop them out into a large Ziploc bag for individual feedings. Warming up in a cup of warm water before feeding. I only use chicken, but would be willing to switch to other types of meat, but I just need some other ideas.
Thanks so much for responding!
