Looking to rehome my Bowie

Hi. I'm sad to say that I'm needing to find a home for my 10 year old great cat. My current living situation is not going to be right for him. He has diabetes- diagnosed last fall, some severe neuropathy I feel is being caused by being on Vetsulin with no home testing, and a constipation problem controlled with miralax and cisapride. I live in Boston and Bowie is in northern NJ with my sister right now who can no longer care for him.
I would pay for his care etc. Im new here and dont know how to post pictures yet but will figure it out soon. If any interest please email me at dmcc1446@yahoo.com

You can check with Diabetic Cats in Need. @Chris & China (GA) is more familiar with the organization than I am and will have more information.

I'd also suggest checking with Angell Memorial Medical Center in Boston or at Tufts. They may know of local resources (although I realize that Bowie is in New Jersey).

Thank you. I listed with Diabetic Cats In Need and had 2 responses- 1 too far away and the other perfect but it fell thru- devastated. I live 2 blocks from Angell and am trying to get a vet recommended from there. Thanks.
