Looking for good vet in RI

Looking for a good compassionate vet in RI I live in lincoln but will travel if I have to. I don't only need a vet to care for Ruben's diabetis, but one who will work with me and be patient with me. I'm a bit of a basket case when it comes to Ruben, so need someone who gets it. Ruben and I work best on love and connection. Any suggestions are appreciated
