Looking for food advice

My vet wants me to feed my cat either the wet or dry Purina DM. She said Purina DM will give me the best shot at remission, but I can't afford it. Currently, I'm feeding canned Friskies from a multi pack I bought at Walmart. I looked the flavors up on Janet & Binky's Table and the carbs come in at less than 10% of calories. The flavors are: Poultry Platter (7), Liver & Chicken Dinner (7), Turkey & Giblets Dinner (7), and Mixed Grill (8). The numbers are the % Kcal from Carbs.

First, are these good options? I was a little concerned that the date on Janet & Binky's Table listed the information as being from 2006.

Second, what are some other inexpensive food options?

Yes, these are all OK. Many of the members feed Fancy Feast, but it's too pricey with the crew I have.

The Friskies you have are all under 10% except for the Mixed Grill which the latest numbers say is 11%

Another low cost option is 9-Lives pates and Special Kitty pates (from WalMart)

Thanks for the info. I'll quit serving the Mixed Grill since it's over 10%.
