Hey guys! (Hope this is in the right forum - let me know if it's not!)
Looking for a new vet, preferably one who supports home testing and has experience with feline diabetes in and around the Nashville, TN area. I live in metro, but I'm willing to drive anywhere from 20-30 minutes outside of town (any more than that, and Mr. Kink gets WAY stressed out. He always upchucks in the car once or twice for good measure, just to show how upset he is. :mrgreen
Our old vet was in Murfreesboro, but he's the one who had us switch him to high carb kibble that *probably* caused this, so we're really reluctant to take him back there. His recent bloodwork was done at ValueVet in Bellevue, but they don't treat diabetics. They referred us to a vet across the street, but I'd rather take any recommendations from this board before going in to another vet blindly!
Thanks for your help!
