I am not sure. Your best numbers had been at 1.5 but then he would bounce. Let's see what the dose does today. No chance he has a UTI or bad teeth? Not getting into any contraband?

The +2 makes sense. He never drops much after eating. Let's see what the +6 looks like.

At +4 we have 266
I was thinking last night he did have a good portion of Bonito Flakes before bed. Could that have done it. Not able to get urine yet. Off to the vet without him to get some syringes and ask for some gravel to put in his litter box.

Sometimes there's no explaining a wonky number. But I don't think the flakes would cause a long term increase in BGs. Not sure what sort of carbs content they have as I never used any here.

The drop so far looks good to me.

Ok so :dizcat here but at +6 he is at 178 just fed him, he usually eats at AMPS, +6 and then at PMPS time, once in a great while will give him a small snack at +2 after PMPS. **** He did not have any snack last night and I had pulled up the other 2 cats food. So it's still a mystery, waiting on urine for ketones test.

Here is how I see the last two days. 3/12 he went low overnight and only got back up to 160 for amps. The half unit was probably a little low - if you had been able to wait the 20 minutes without feeding, you might have shot .6 or .8 and he might have had a better day. I wonder about the 468 this am - either a wonky number or he is bouncing around from a lower number overnight. Today the 2 units gave you a nice pmps - you just had to wait the 20 minutes and he was up to a shootable number . I think there is stuff happening at night that is messing with the day time numbers and I wish we knew what his +6 or +8 was overnight.

My two cents. And about what it is worth.....

Ok I just double checked his SS and this is what it looked like 3/11 AMPS 260 Gave 1 unit- at +6 322at PMPS325gave 1 unit at +4 after PMPS he was at 230- The next day 3/12/13 at AMPS I got 160 then at +2 got 235 and then at PMPS got291.
Today at AMPS he was at 486 at +2 413 +4 266+6 178 PMPS he was at 191 and 30 minutes later he is up to 291. What nailbite_smile me is the high of his AMPS and then the fast climb in 30 minutes from his PMPS to the next check which was only 30 minutes after he ate. I have been checking him at midnight which is 4 for him after his PMPS. He is acting fine and as a matter of fact he never comes down when the dog is in the house but tonight he is right by my side, not leaving me at all.
I am so sorry to be driving you crazy, but misery loves company right? JK I appreciate what you think always.

He does rise fast. I would guess it is either that he is unusually sensitive to food and it raises the numbers or if, for him, when the insulin is gone, he immediately shoots up.

The midnight number is good, but notice today how the number from +4 changed dramatically by +6 and then he surfed awhile. If you had just seen the +4 today, it would have looked like a high cycle.

You are not driving me crazy. I just wish I could figure him out and help you.

Okay thinking of setting the alarm and checking him during the night, last check before bed will be at +2 from PMPS, should I do a +4 and a +6 and then the normal time for his AMPS?
Gonna be in great shape for a job interview tomorrow.

Just did a + 2 after PMPS and he is at 245
Going to attenpt to get up for some extra checks, if he is low should I give him a snack no matter what time it is? If yes will that change his whole eating schedule?
I start school the first week in April and won't be here for his AMPS check, asking hubby if he will help.
