LLEF (Lantus Land Emergency Fund) is asking for donations in support of Garland. DCIN, with the support of many generous FDMB donors, raised significant funds to help with Garland’s recent hospitalization for DKA and HL. Garland is at back at home with a feeding tube, but she still has a long recovery ahead of her. Violet is doing an amazing job caring for Garland with limited resources and young children at home. We are hoping that everyone in LL who is able to do so will send something to help with Garland’s ongoing costs for medications and supplies and for future vet bills.

To contribute to LLEF via Paypal, please send your donation to LLEF4kitties @ gmail.com (remove spaces).
Please select the "Personal" tab, and send the money as a "Gift".

Please specify that your donation is for Garland, and also add your FDMB user name.

Garland is alive today because of generous contributions from FDMB. Please help us continue the good work that has been accomplished so far. Thank you in advance for your help.
 
Please consider donating to the is very worthy cause. Violet has expressed her deep gratitude for all the help Garland has received from FDMB.
 
It wasn't that long ago that the generosity and support of the folks at FDMB helped me save Black Kitty when he was at the door...

What am I missing? The link above is sending me to my Outlook Express mail, not PayPal, for Garland
LL doesn't have a link for Garland.
Should I just go directly to PayPal?

Thank you all from the very bottom of my heart. Garland would never have had this chance to fight without all of your help! And thanks for holding my hand every step of the way!
 
What a wonderful place this is. It brings tears to my eyes to actually see all the action taken to help Garland. My first chance to help in this way and I do wish I could do more. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Garland and Violet. I have not been around much but was reading about Garland's challenges earlier. I am so glad to help.

I made a contribution to DCIN, but how wonderful to see additional funds being raised for Garland.

There really are some good people in the World.

Garland and I thank you so much for your generosity!!!!!!!!!! One day I will pay it forward to another kitty here in need. You all have given Garland the chance she needs to fight and me the strength to do all I can to help her! Thank you Thank you Thank you ((hugs))
 
Ah dear (((Violet)))...we take care of our own in FDMB and Garland has shown such a willingness to fight and you have many here who believe you are a hero for all you are doing with a plate that is too full. Bless you and hang in there. Hope you are managing to get some rest.

Thanks for the link. Poor guy. Im so happy he made it through. Its hard when our babies are sick. They are fighters though :)

Thank you!! Everyone is just so wonderful!! I couldnt have gotten Garland this far without the help of FDMB!! I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity!

I was trying to do the donation by paypal, however, there's only 4 options in the Personal tab : (1) shared expenses; (2) rental charges; (3) payment owed & (4) others. which one i should select?

That's a good question. I don't know :oops:

Maybe someone with more Paypal experience can help. I would guess "Others".
 
Make sure you have logged in and then select the "Send Money" tab. On that page, there is a choice of "Purchase" or "Personal" tabs. Select the "Personal" tab. There are then radio buttons for gift, payment owed, cash advance, living expenses, or other. Choose gift.

Unless the Paypal options are different for where you live, what I noted above is what's on my screen.
 
i did select the correct tab, dont worry i selected the wrong tab, i do online trading very often, have much more experience than dealing with FD :lol:
I guesss Sienne is correct, paypal option are different from location. If send money by selecting "Others" wont cause you tax or other expenses, then I'll send the money by selecting "Others". let me know about it :-D
 
i saw the same options that sienne described. seems funny that Paypal would have different options in different countries. but i would think as long as you enter the correct email address it will get to the right spot.

This is Linda and Bear Man posting on behalf of LLEF with an update. We have continued to receive very generous donations for this fundraiser. We have now received over $1300 in contributions towards Garland's care. Thank you to everyone for donating and for supporting the Lantus Land Emergency Fund. Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated.
