Hi Lantus Land,
It's Linda and Bear Man posting on behalf of the LLEF (Lantus Land Emergency Fund) committee. For those who are not familiar with LLEF, please see our sticky at the top of the page. Our primary mission is to help regular posters in this ISG who are not able to afford emergency veterinary care for their kitties. There are kitties with condos today, who would not otherwise be here, thanks to the help of generous donors to the LLEF.
In the past year, LLEF has worked cooperatively with DCIN to help Lantus kitties in need. Whether LLEF donated directly to DCIN, or whether we posted an appeal asking for donations to DCIN, generous donors responded to our appeals. Venita of DCIN has sent a card to thank LLEF for their support. Of course, LLEF is YOU ... all of you who post here, support each other, and who respond to help others in time of need. Venita's card shows before and after pictures of "Musette", a kitty assisted by DCIN, and reads: "Musette and diabetic kitties like her have found love and health thanks to caring people like you". Venita goes on to say, "Dear LLEF, Thank you for being a part of the DCIN family. May you have a blessed 2012".
On behalf the LLEF committee, who in turn act on behalf of all of you here in Lantus Land, many thanks to you for your generous caring and support. You have made a difference in the lives of many kitties, and your help is deeply appreciated.
