LL Full Snow Moon, Olympics, Valentines' Party tonight

Yo Kitties! It's here!! The Lantus Land Full Snow Moon Party with an Olympics theme on Valentines' Day! At CAMP STU!! WOW!! We are going to celebrate tonight. All Kitties invited. Come early to help with the fuds and the CatOlympics venues. Tess will pick you up in the LL Kitty Bus (which will be equipped with snow tires and lots of fleece blankets and hats, a pizza oven manned by Lola & Bug, and a coffee bar presided over by Elsa, Kitteh Barista extraordinaire, and serving up hot cimmamum-spiced chocolate).

Here's the party menu:
Appetizers: Hot Tuna Toddies, White Russians, Adirondack Microbrews, Caviar on Nip Crackers, Pickled Herring, 3-Cheese Fondue, Borscht, Pirozhki, Sushi Bar manned by LL Sushi Chefs Neko and Tess and serving fresh ice-caught Fish.
Entrees: Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Kiev, Chef Mannie's Renowned Poached PNW Salmon with catnip Mayo, BigMac's Burger Extravanza, Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili, Grilled Fresh Fish (you catch 'em, we grill 'em).
Salads: Slaw with Beets and Walnuts a la Butthead and Donny, Salmon and Potato Salad with nip.
Desserts: Snow Cones, Tobey's Gold-Medal Cimmamum Cookies, Apres Ski French Toast with Adirondack Maple Syrup, Be-My-Valentine Chocolate Cake, LL Pastry Chef Tess' Surprise Olympics Concoction, Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.

Curling: Team Snow vs. Team Ice
BobCat Slide
Kitty Luge
Short-track speed skating
Ice dancing
Free-style figure skating,
Ice Fishing contest
X-C Skiing
Etc.

Come early to help clear the snow off the lake and to construct the sliding track. The evening will end with a Circle of Remembrance and a special Valentines' Day tribute to our beloved GAs. This is going to be a wonderful party. Come one, come all!

Team Snow and Team Ice are tied at the moment in curling. The sliding venue is jumpin' (zoomin'). Those BobCatters and KittyLugers are crazy tonight! Ice dancing is a big hit. Everybody is on the rink. Ice Fishing for the sushi bar is very popular. X-C ski races on the shore (and out on the ice) are in progress. We are having fun! Pretty soon we'll have our banquet. And then the Circle of Remembrance and the Valentines' Day surprise. Guess what? There is lots of snow for the Full Snow Moon. It's coming up over the trees right now!!

OOH, What a beautiful Full Snow Moon. We are out on the ice in the middle of the lake admiring the Valentines' Day surprise: a huge ice sculpture of a HEART superimposed on a FULL MOON. Some Kitties were really busy all evening making that magnificent work of art! It is a Valentine for our Guardian Angels. We could hear them singing. We could smell the fuds cooking in the Two Chefs' Kitchen at the Bridge. And we all had a moment of breathtaking quiet as we each thought about our dear friends at the Bridge. Now we are going to skate, ski and slide back to camp to sit around the fire and finish our banquet. It is a great party. Results of the competitions will be posted tomorrow. Happy Valentines' Day to all our Beans!

We hear the beautiful singing from the circle of remembrance choir all the way out here in Arizona. The backdrop of the full moon on the day of our hearts makes it so special.

Hey all,
I know Maui is looking on this with love and fondness and of course trying to make sure that everyone at the bridge is in properuniforms, err outfits! I'll bet they are really cute uniforms,[/s] err outfits too with little hearts and paw prints on the collars.

Do you all see them through the veil? Are they singing and dancing with you? I sure hope so.....sounds like such a fun party you are having.
