Holy moly, I didn’t really know how much food makes the difference, Lionel has been all over the range, even though he is eating only FF pate classic wet food , but his brother has CKD & Hyperthyroid so he is on dry and wet renal food, I thought Lionel was trained not to eat the dry, but he obviously was, after lifting it at night for the past 2 nights, his BG was at 3.6 this am, on alphatrak 2 in Canada, so no insulin this am, going to retest in a few hours, but had been brought up to 3 units of Lantus twice a day, has slight neuropathy, could the dry food be my whole problem???? I tested this am and got 3.9 waited 30 mins and got 3.6 so I fed him and I guess I ll test again in a couple hours, kinda confused and kinda happy, any input is much appreciated!first time he doesn’t need insulin since July, nervous about him not getting it

Could you please modify your title to include the date, cat's name and AMPS - and then your question.

So it would look like this 1/10 Lionel AMPS #### (I'd look but don't see your spreadsheet or your signature)...

Do you need help getting those set up?

It's difficult to keep up with all the posts on the forum - so it really helps us if we can see the details - of the cat first - thank you!

Yeah I don’t have a spreadsheet or really follow or post in this group, my cat isn’t one I can home test alone so unfortunately I ve only been doing it when I can, which is better then nothing, not sure how
So many people for such docile cats, my cat is 18 pds and can scratch and bite!first time I see such a low number, but I took the dry food away 2 days ago so that’s why I ve been testing. Thank god

We have many resources here to help you!

But without a signature we don't know anything - like what type of insulin is Lionel on? How much? What type of food - and what you're transitioning to.

We're very happy to try to help you...but without any information it kinda ties our hands. There are a lot of great people on here that will happily advise and support you - and we've all dealt with, well, hate to say this, but hellcats...yes some of us have had that wrestling match of which you speak...

Please try to set up your signature... :)
