Let's talk teeth and ingredients.

Not I my friend, although I've definitely thought about it. I've always wondered how that works, but I suppose that it could possibly be turned into an acceptable routine like testing and shooting is. My buddy Lou will barely let me look into his mouth, let alone try to put a toothbrush in there, haha.

Found the ingredients in PetSmile. They're a bit out of my scientific league lol. Anyone recognize anything to being harmful to sugar babies?
*Deionized Water
*Glycerin
*Citric Acid
*Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate
*Calprox®
*Cellulose Gum
*Urea Peroxide
*Carbopol 934P
*Potassium Hydroxide
*Flavor
*Phosphoric Acid
*Sodium Benzoate
*EDTA
*Cetyl Pyridinium Chloride

I feel like I've read about glycerin and possibly being a no-no for diabetics.... :bookworm::bookworm::bookworm:. Maybe that was xylitol... Or both...

I have read that glycerin is not metabolized as sugar and should not cause a rise in blood glucose.

Mia HATES having anything done with her mouth. The girl handles being given shots and having her ear poked, but if you try to do something with the mouth, she thinks she is being killed. So, I cannot personally give feedback on PetSmile; however, it was recommended for her by a wonderful well-respected dental specialist. I take both of my girls to him and completely trust him. (I wish he could be our 'regular' vet!) He also very strongly recommended a supplement called 1-TDC which I give to both of my girls.

I don't think I recognize any of the ingredientes as bad for sugar babies and I do like the fact that it says you just have to spread it in the teeth and not actually brush them that gives me a bit of hope I may be able to get some of it in

And the 1-TCD also looks very good but since they claim is a proprietary formula it scares me a bit not knowing what it contains given the multiple issues I'm dealing with my kids

Yes I brush one of my cats teeth every night. He is very good and his teeth are beautiful. My other cat I don't, because she would scratch me to bits, she is very feisty. She won't even let me look at her teeth.
