Here I am, after a slightly eventful week, which included a temporary kitty, vomiting and more snow.
Leo is doing okay. Something's up, just haven't figured out what it is. He's now up to 30u and climbing fast due to out of control bg's. I've been procrastinating on the R but I gotta start it again. This week he was sick, and vomiting for several hours one night. This is extremely unusual for him and scared me. I don't know if it was the food, but I deeply suspect it. The next day he got back to normal but that food is off the menu permanently. (Friskies Turkey and Giblets) Other than that, he's pretty normal, just a smidge "off" with climbing numbers. Here's our obligatory cute pic, he was having a nap with his foot on my leg while I was on the laptop this morning.. so I did some contortions to reach the camera and got the shot. If I sit on the floor, he will come sit with me no matter where in the house he is.. somehow he knows I'm on the floor.. maybe he hears old creaking bones? PS: how do you like my jammies? LOL
Then this week I got a kittysitting job for Milo, whose owner jmflake posted on FDMB a couple weeks ago. She's on vacation and her pretty high dose boy needed a place to stay. He's adorable:
He's deaf, and has severe neuropathy, as well as some sort of condition causing insulin resistance:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tYXurtGG1oRckXQGfzc-qKg&output=html He's learning to "like" me, which means he is not biting me EVERY time I show up with food or the test kit. He's actually adapting very well for a kitty who misses his mom and his house, and smells 3 other kitties and keeps getting poked by the Crazy Lady With The Food.
