Leoberry is doing very well - Happy Holidays

Hi Everyone - Happy Holidays from Leo and Little Dude (LD).:bighug:

Leo had a bumpy year. But he recovered from several health incidents and is doing quite well.
- 3.3 years diabetic (8/2015 dx)
- 2.2 years post-SRT (radiation 9/2016)
- 1.5 years small cell lymphoma (6/2017)

These last few weeks, Leo is almost a normal kitteh. Leo has external signs of issues like eating issues and some gait issues with his front legs. Besides those symptoms, he is enjoying life and chillin' with his bud Little Dude every day. Leo and LD's favorite healthy snack this month is freeze dried chicken ($5 packs). They absolutely love it.

Little Dude had urine crystals, a few months ago. Now he is exclusively on a wet diet and his checkup showed no crystals. Our third kitteh Chinus is also doing well. All in all, a holiday to enjoy.

Below, Leo and LD on the back porch "massage table" under a heat lamp, in the 75 degree glass greenhouse. You can tell LD is too hot, as he is barely sleeping and about to get up.

Jeff, you made my day!! Thank you so much. I had requested update and pictures (of course, I do so love that velvety soft LD tummy).
I am so glad that Leoberry is doing so well and I want you please to give all three of your furry feline kids a special hug and little head kisses from me.

Thanks for the holiday wishes everyone - from our kitteh family to yours.

Today, I was reminded of how challenging it is to learn blood testing. Our cat sitter has agreed to test Leo tomorrow, while I visit my Aunt. She did well on the first try, and she took good notes. The training took 15-20 minutes, for a procedure that now takes me 20 - 30 seconds. I guess all of us on the forum become experts at testing, and it just becomes second nature to us. We are fortunate to have a local pet sitter who will learn stuff like this.
 
Merry Christmas Jeff and Leo...pics are just adorable! Especially the velvety center part - Luci won't let me near hers - at all - ever. It would mean a good biting for me so I keep my hands away from her underbelly - looks kinda furry like the rest of her - only it's all white...but she protects is...so no sharing with mama on that one ...LOL...Thanks for stopping by...glad to hear things are going well for you and the family :)
