Today is day 3 of Leo's trial completely off insulin. He seems to be holding his own, his high number in the last 72 hours was 117. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
I've been trying to test him a little less as his poor ears really took a beating over the holiday weekend when we first started to hold doses. How often should I be testing? My schedule and BF's line up so that BF is still home several hours after I leave so we could get a test before he goes, if we need to.
My summer class starts tomorrow-dear Lord, please see me through yet another semester of Calculus...although it's mentally comforting to me, sixteen weeks of Calc compressed into an eight-week session is really going to put a dent in my time! I will keep updates coming, but please know that just because I'm not around as much doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you and pulling for all of your sweet kitties!
