Left out Insulin

I just got my first vial of insulin from the vet last night and left it in my purse when I got home. I put it in the refrigerator this morning, but how does that affect the concentration? I don't want to have too many variables since this is the initial week of injections and results. Does anyone know what leaving overnight does to the solution?

Is should be fine. Everyone has left out insulin at one time or another. It doesn't change the concentration, though it may affect the shelf-life very slightly. Don't worry!

I've done it several times *wince*. It has, thankfully, never had a negative impact on my insulin, to date!
