Late dose, need advice please

Mary was at the vet all day again and we are just getting home. it is now 730, 2.5 hours later then our normal dosing time, BG is 305 without food. I have to dose her at 5am what should I do?

Forgot to mention....We were an hour late on this mornings dose due to her not wanting to eat...

You can work her back to your usual dosing time in increments as large as one hour over the next few cycles.

Her morning dose with be at +9.5... i can push it to +10 but will not be able to get any reading on her before I leave...

ProZinc has some scheduling flexibility. We generally say you can move a dose time up to an hour without causing a problem. If you’re off schedule a few hours, I’d use no larger than 1 hour increments to get back to your regular schedule. You could use smaller increments but it’ll take more cycles to restore your schedule.
