Last Weekend for DCIN Fall Fundraiser

This is the last weekend for DCIN's Fall Fundraiser, and we still have more than half of our budget to raise for 10 specific cats. We have come up with eleven great prizes to be raffled off to those who donate--$5 a number. Please help us help those cats, and their people.

This is the Fundraiser blog page, which lists the cats needing help, the prizes, and how to donate. Even $5 helps us toward our goal, and gets you a chance at the prizes.

I spend alot of time on the Internet looking at rescue pages. There are so many worthy animals and causes out there. It is heartbreaking. But you are here because you have a special place in your heart for a specific diabetic cat or for diabetic cats in general. So do I. DCIN is helping some diabetic cats whose people are in serious financial trouble. Of course I wouldn't say who, but two people are facing foreclosure on their homes and one is using her foodstamps to buy chicken to raw feed her pets.

Please help if you can...

...If you can only send good wishes and prayers, this kitty's cup accepts those too!!

Bump with a bit of information that may look a bit like shameless promotion but hey, I'm trying to get you excited about the prize!

While its not listed on the website for Gina's Gourmet Creations yet, we started making our incredibly popular homemade candy this weekend for the Holiday Season. So in addition to the dips and spread mixes the winner will also be able to choose from the following types of candy - Peppermint Bark which is made with either White Chocolate Mint or Dark Chocolate Mint flavored bark mixed with lots of real peppermint oil and crushed candy canes. Coffee Toffee Bark which is made with a Mocha Cappucino flavored bark and lots of toffee pieces (contains almonds). And brand new this year (and as of this moment still not officially named) a new bark that is made with a Peanut Butter & Chocolate flavored bark with a hint of caramel and a ton of pretzel pieces. Its sweet and salty and peanut buttery. We offer all three of them in festively decorated bags, plus the Peppermint and Coffee ones are available in cute molded Gingerbread men shapes.

So get going folks, donate, win a prize and get lots of yummy stuff from me shipped free to your house for the holidays (or, if you prefer, shipped to someone else as a gift).

Thank you for donating and for the good wishes. Please crosspost the Fall Fundraiser. We have only 2.5 days to go, and about half the fundraising budget to meet. Crosspost to your friends on Facebook, to your family, to anyone you think might be interested in a US tax deduction for a donation for a diabetic cat rescue.

This is for Anonymous Cat 2, Beasley, Bill, Blackie, Jake, Porch2, Tawny, Tinkerbell, Twinkie, and Yoda. And a little bit for unrestricted funds, so that DCIN can help cats that come into the rescue for help. http://fdmb-cin.blogspot.com/2010/10/fall-2010-fundraiser.html

Thank you for your donation, and if you can't donate, thank you for your best wishes for DCIN to meet its goal for this fundraiser.
