For the first time, I picked up Pumpkin's prescription and it isn't Glargine. It's actually Lantus. Should I be concerned with any possible differences? I know that human OTC generic does not work as well as name brand for me. I hope it isn't going to be more potent.

No. Lantus is a brand name. There are several brands that are glargine insulins that are biosimular toceach other. I have used both Lantus and Semglee and never noticed any difference

Ben has used Lantus, and started on Semglee which was the first biosimilar glargine. Right now, I got a great deal through good RX for a different glargine biosimilar, there are several on the market now. They have all worked the same. The biosimilar glargine is much easier on my wallet.
    Hope this helps.
