Lantus ...left out three hours?

Hi Lantus Group,

My hubby forgot the Insulin Lantus out on the counter last week for three hours. Our house is around 70 degrees since we are air conditioned. Is the Landus still good?
It is still clear in the bottle. Please advise.

If it is still crystal clear with no bubbles it is good. Of course if you notice it not working, that is a different story, but odds are, no problem.

For human use they say it can be kept at room temp for 28 days. We refrigerate to prolong it's useable life. Usually afew hours like that is not a problem. Just keep an eye on it for cloudiness or "floaties" as melanie said.
