I remember hearing a long time ago that (something like?) a fatty deposit will be able to feel independent (isolated) opposed to 'connected' as a tumor feels- Am I making sense , if so, does anyone have knowledgeable experience here ?
Thanks :bighug:,

Hogan has lots of lipomas all over. What you say is generally true - most fatty deposits are squishy, you can easily move them around under your fingers, and don't seem connected. However, that's not always the case. Hogan has a new, small hard lump that was not movable in his chest that I was super concerned about since it was so different from the other lumps. I had it biopsied, and it came back as a lipoma. So while it's generally the case, it's not 100%.

Thank you, Hogan's mommy ;).
I'm going to keep the ? up for a few more opinions- My first and last kitty (Nelli is second) became riddled with intestinal Cancer at age 14. Two years prior I felt a little bump in her underneath (I have daily massaged all my animals) mentioned to Vet next time we saw- he was not concerned and mentioned fatty deposit. In retrospect, fast forward two years, I realized she probably had beginning of Cancer. I took this as a blessing, that I potentially had two more years, not worrying, with Mollie :bighug:.
Thanks for your experienced response :) ;)
