As promised I would share this.

Here is the previous blood work posted earlier.

Here is the new blood work. From the new vet.

KittyPineCrestBloodWork212-13-2011-1.jpg

Notice:
Bun dropped from 34.2 to 17.
Albumin dropped from 3.7 to 3.3
Cholesterol dropped from 205 to 175

I am not to familiar with most of what is showing. However it appears that the major factors that would indicate kidney and liver failure are now all within normal perimeters.

Looks like the diet overhaul really agrees with Kitty. :-D :-D :-D :-D

If anybody has any input please share.

Kitty's teeth are scheduled to be cleaned on the 21.
Hopefully this will be the last piece of the puzzle needed to get his glucose to start settling down.

Looking good, Sev.

Probably could reduce testing to every 2 hours and still have enough data to know if Kitty was heading low or high.

Its relief to know that his overall health is good. Hopefully all this effort will translate into remission in the near future.

I am planing on it. Seems everybody is of the same opinion.

then the fun may really begin if the gum infection/teeth are the cause of the numbers being whacky. He may also still run up and down once his mouth is done if his body is trying for remission till it happens. He will still be considered a diabetic but OTJ hopefully for the rest of his life controlled only by diet. Then again he may never go off insulin but he should definitely regulate better.
