Day 8 starting bad. We forgot to remove food before ps time, and she tested 6.1. The highest in a long time. We removed the food and tested 2 hours later, only to find she has gone UP to 6.4.

When to abort trial?

Apart from the nice 4.2 at pmps I suppose she has had tendencies of going up.

I must admit, this makes me a little sad :(

We fed her, she ate a little less than normal portion (but she could have free fed). Will test again in 3-4 as instruction says.

Look down the list on the form to "12/22 Tiny Sole Day 13 " That kitty went into remission. You can see she had some blue #'s . It is advisable that you eliminate all dry food. It will raise her Bg.

Best of Luck. It's always exciting to see one of the Kitties go into remission!:D

Don't worry just yet.....these kitties can throw us a curveball every now and then but it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Maybe she saw a mouse and it scared her....maybe someone knocked on the door....or a dog ran by the window when she was looking

I'm trying to think of anything could have stressed her. But I guess sometimes it's just things we don't understand.

I guess I'm over worried because of pneumonia and all. She is now not on antibiotics anymore, so if it is to come back, I guess it could do so now. Thank you for reassuring me. Will test 3-4 after her meals and see if the pancreas is working.
